Moldovan government has discussions with European Business Association on backing business environment
Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu has had a meeting with members of the European Business Association from Moldova (EBA). The sides discussed the government's priorities as regards the European integration and the implementation of necessary reforms to ensure economic growth and support for the business environment.
The proposals refer to simplifying the regulatory framework and reducing bureaucracy, promoting e-commerce and digitizing economic processes, as well as improving state aid schemes. The government has recently approved the increase of the regional state aid scheme budget from 2 billion to 4 billion lei. Another important topic was the diversification of the programmes of the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA).
During the meeting, EBA representatives presented entrepreneurs' vision on the development and competitiveness of Moldova’s business environment.
