
Moldovan government invites children to educational activities, thematic visits and cultural events on World Children's Day
On 1 June, on World Children's Day, the Government of the Republic of Moldova is organizing a program for children and parents. The State Residence in Condrița will be transformed into Children's Residence, where they can participate in educational activities about the environment, learn about recycling, attend planting demonstrations and take part in forest hikes.
There will also be playgrounds for children, a gastronomic area, and a concert. Olga Verbițchi and Marej will perform on stage with songs for the whole family.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, alongside the Moldovan Railway will launch the 'Train of Childhood,' a symbolic journey dedicated to the youngest passengers.
The Ministry of Energy will organize a visit to Termoelectrica enterprise, the Ministry of Defense will conduct activities and competitions for children at the military polygon in Cahul, and the Ministry of Education and Research invites children to various interactive activities in the Central Park of Chișinău.
World Children's Day, marked on 1 June is celebrated in nearly 50 countries.
