Prime Minister visited Manuc-Bey Mansion in Hîncești, family business

Prime Minister Dorin Recean visited Manuc Bey Mansion in Hîncești district. Over time, it has been restored and maintained thanks to multiple European projects supported by local authorities and other international partners.

One of the most important projects was funded by the European Union and aimed at promoting Manuc-Bey Mansion along with other cultural sites in Romania and Ukraine. Due to European support, the mansion was restored and integrated into a tourist route.

Recean appreciated the efforts made to conserve and harness cultural heritage and encouraged the continuation of these initiatives, which bring economic and tourism benefits to the entire region.

Local authorities continue to develop this complex through new projects targeting both the modernization of spaces and the organization of cultural events and fairs for local craftsmen and producers.

The mansion's renovation work began in 2014 and lasted almost two years.

Also in Hîncești, in the village of Dancu, the prime minister visited a family business specializing in cheese production. Its products are sold in store networks across the country, and the owner continuously develops the business. A bakery was opened, as well as a pastry shop where their own production is sold.

The company benefits from state subsidies per liter of milk; previously, with funds from ADMA, they purchased a tractor. In 2024, with the help of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and UNDP Moldova, they managed to install a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 30 kW at the enterprise.
