
Moldovan cabinet to organize activities dedicated to winter holidays
Chisinau, 1 November /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet today backed the carrying out of more actions on the occasion of the winter holidays, in order to promote the popular traditions, native goods and the tourism potential of Moldova, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Thus, on the period 15 December 2017 – 15 January 2018, activities of entertainment, socialization, enlightening and artistic education will be organized in Moldova. Professional and amateurs’ artistic bands from all over the country will participate in the event. Special emphasis is put on the involvement of national theatres, the ones for children, artistic bands of amateurs for children and those represented by national minority groups.
Also, popular craftsmen will present their works and will organize evening parties to convey to young generations traditional techniques of their carrying out. At the same time, economic agents will exhibit their food products and consumer goods in specially arranged places.
The activities will be financed by central public administration authorities, within the limits of the budgets approved.
