
Moldovan foreign affairs minister to pay visit to Moscow
Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan diplomacy head, Nicu Popescu, will pay a visit to Moscow, at an invitation by his Russian counterpart, on 16-17 November.
The press service of the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) has reported that the visit’s agenda included meetings with Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov, Kremlin Deputy Chief of Staff Dmitry Kozak and Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs, Grigory Karasin.
Nicu Popescu, in his capacity of co-head of the joint inter-governmental commission for commercial and economic cooperation, will meet Russian Minister of Agriculture, co-head of the commission Dmitry Patrushev.
On 17 November at 12:00 (13:00, Moscow time), Minister Nicu Popescu and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov will hold a news conference. The live broadcasting of the event could be watched on the Facebook page of the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry.
