Administrator of Moldatsa state enterprise of Moldova dismissed

The administrator of the state enterprise, Moldatsa, Dumitru Vanghelie, will cease his activity as of June 22, based on a decision by the Public Property Agency (APP).

The measure comes after the Board of Directors of the Moldatsa state enterprise decided, at its meeting on June 20, to revoke the administrator’s mandate on the grounds of loss of confidence.

According to the APP, the interim position will be held by Andrei Cebanu, currently deputy director of the Civil Aviation Authority (ACC).

At the same time, the investigation initiated by the Board of Directors and the Audit Commission, at the instruction of the founder, will continue. As the new relevant circumstances are identified during this investigation, all appropriate legal measures will be taken with regard to Dumitru Vanghelie.

At the end of last week, the Public Property Agency (APP) ordered an investigation at the Moldatsa state enterprise and suspended the exercise of the director’s duties.

According to a press release issued at that time by the APP, the decision was taken after the institution had acted on its own initiative following information that appeared in the public space regarding the legality and authenticity of the documents submitted in the competition file of Dumitru Vanghelie, as well as other aspects concerning the enterprise’s managerial activity.

Dumitru Vanghelie was appointed interim administrator of the Moldatsa state enterprise in the summer of 2024. Later, in September 2025, he won the competition for the position of administrator of the enterprise.

The former administrator of the Moldatsa state enterprise, Dumitru Vanghelie, provided public explanations in a post on a social network, in the context of the discussions that have arisen in the public space regarding his activity and CV.

Vanghelie says that his activity at the head of the enterprise can be evaluated by the results achieved and notes that the information presented in his CV was not intended to mislead.

In the same post, Vanghelie provided clarifications regarding his professional experience, the activity carried out in Canada, his declared assets, the hiring decisions made at the enterprise, as well as other topics that have recently circulated in the public space.
