New vehicle registration certificate model to be set up in Moldova
By late June 2025, a new vehicle registration certificate model will be set up in the Republic of Moldova.
The new model, in addition to information regarding the year of manufacture, will also contain information about the date of first registration of the vehicle. The document will meet all technical and security standards, including measures against counterfeiting and forgery.
The introduction of the new type of certificates does not entail changes to the status of already issued documents. All previously issued registration certificates remain valid and do not need to be replaced. Additionally, it should be noted that the price of the registration certificate remains unchanged.
