
Prime Minister in discussions with Head of European Union Delegation to Moldova
Prime Minister Dorin Recean had a farewell meeting with Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, Ambassador Jānis Mažeiks. The official is concluding his term after four years of activity in our country.
The official thanked the ambassador for the constant support and appreciated the contribution of EU member states to the implementation of Moldova's reform agenda. The Prime Minister highlighted the main developments in key areas and emphasized that the government in Chisinau will continue to prioritize the necessary actions to speed up joining the European Union.
“The European Union has been by our side in all crucial stages - both in times of crisis, when we needed support, and in our integration efforts. We are moving firmly and irreversibly on the European path, and Moldova Growth Plan, offered by the EU will help us build European living conditions here at home,” said Recean.
Officials discussed projects implemented with the support of the European Union and the progress made by our country in areas such as energy, agriculture, ensuring cybersecurity and judicial reform.
