Modern hospital in Bălți: Moldova to receive EU support for design work

The Government of the Republic of Moldova

Costs for the preparation of design documents for Bălți Regional Hospital construction project will be covered by the European Union. The government has approved the signing of a grant agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the Council of Europe's Development Bank. The support amounts to three million euros.

The new regional institution will cover an area of approximately 38,000 square meters, with 340 inpatient beds and 78 outpatient beds. Thus, the residents of the northern region of the country will have access to quality and modern medical services.

The total value of Bălți Regional Hospital construction project is 108 million euros, and the commissioning is expected for early 2029.
