Moldovan president has meeting with President of European Economic and Social Committee
President Maia Sandu today received President of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) Séamus Boland, on a visit to Chisinau.
The EESC is the advisory body of the European Union, that represents civil society and facilitates the participation of a diverse range of economic and social actors in the European decision-making process, acting as a bridge between the main EU institutions and European citizens.
The EESC supports Moldova and the country’s European path through projects that contribute to strengthening civil society, by capitalizing on its expertise in the field of social policies and employment, as well as by promoting dialogue between organizations of the country and the institutions of the European Union.
