Moldovan deputy PM meets Head of European Union Delegation in Moldova

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri has had a working meeting with Head of the European Union Delegation in Moldova Iwona Piórko.

The officials discussed current developments in the region, the role of the European Union in the settlement process and the positive impact of the European integration path on the country's reintegration measures.

The sides emphasized the need of gradually advancing the reintegration of the Transnistrian region into the economic, social and institutional space of Moldova, noting the significant contributions on behalf of development partners in supporting this process.
