
As many as 1, 3,297,596 people registered in Moldova's State Registry of Voters till 1 July
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has informed that, at present, 3,297,596 voters are registered in the State Registry of Voters.
According to CEC, in the Moldovan capital, 661,438 voters are registered, while in Balti - 98,053, and another about 276,517 voters are registered in the districts on the left bank of the Dniester River.
About 2,754,616 citizens with the right to vote out of the total number of voters registered in the State Registry of Voters are assigned to level II administrative and territorial units.
The difference includes persons who have Moldovan citizenship, but do not have a domicile or residence registration, including those who have emigrated legally beyond the country's borders (266,463 people) and citizens with the right to vote, having their domicile registered in the administrative and territorial units on the left bank of the Dniester River, currently outside the sovereign control of Moldova’s constitutional authorities (276,517 people).
