Electoral body receives documents for registration of candidate for Moldovan president's office
Chisinau, 12 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today received the documents and the subscription lists for the support of a candidate for the office of Moldova’s president at the elections due on 20 October 2024.
The documents and the lists were submitted by the initiative group for backing Renato Usatii, nominated by Our Party.
During seven days at the most, CEC will verify the documents and the subscription lists submitted.
The Commission has registered 13 initiative groups in all, which will collect signatures for supporting candidates for the position of Moldova’s president.
