MAE: 19 Moldovans evacuated from Israel with Ukraine's support
A group of 19 citizens from the Republic of Moldova was successfully evacuated from Israel and has safely arrived in Chisinau, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE).
The operation was coordinated by the Crisis Unit of the MAE, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Tel Aviv and with the support of the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel.
The evacuation took place in a tense regional context and involved transporting the citizens from Israel to Egypt, from where they were boarded on an air flight provided by the Ukrainian side.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses gratitude to the Ukrainian diplomats in Tel Aviv and Chisinau for the remarkable contribution to this mission and the solidarity,” according to a press release of the institution.
