
Moldova's Central Electoral Commission starts registration of electoral blocs; parties can submit applications as of 20 June
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) informs that, starting from June 20, interested political parties can submit the necessary documents for the registration of electoral blocs for the parliamentary elections due on September 28.
According to CEC, the Regulation on the Particularities of the Formation and Registration of Electoral Blocs, approved by CEC decision No 3529/2025, has already been published in the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).
Thus, electoral blocs can be formed by two or more legally registered political parties at the Public Services Agency, provided that they are not subject to the restrictions stipulated by the law on political parties.
Documents can be submitted to the CEC headquarters, as of Monday till Friday, during 9:00-16:00, until August 13, 2025.
