Moldova's Public Services Agency extends working schedule for political parties, amid new legislative requirements

The Public Services Agency (ASP) will operate in extended working schedule on July 12, 2025, in order to facilitate the process of updating official data by political parties of Moldova. The measure is adopted in the context of the new amendments provided by Law No. 100/2025 on political parties and in view of the parliamentary elections due on September 28, 2025.

According to the ASP, the Multifunctional Center No. 2 from Chisinau, located at 47 Al. Pushkin Street, will operate from 08:00 to 17:00, in order to receive the necessary documents from political formations.

"According to the new legal provisions, parties are obliged to declare the nominal and numerical composition of members who fall under the scope of the Law on the Declaration of Assets and Personal Interests; to update statutes and programs in accordance with current legislation; to notify ASP of any changes in status, in the composition of management bodies, or other data in the State Register of Legal Entities, within 15 days after the adoption of the decision by the competent bodies," ASP said.

The form templates and necessary information can be accessed on the official website of the Agency: www.asp.gov.md, in the Useful Information / Standard Forms section.

By late on July 14, 2025, the Agency will submit the updated information on the political parties registered in the State Register; parties with limited activity; applications under review to the Central Electoral Commission.

According to ASP, there are currently 66 political parties registered in Moldova. Eighteen formations out of them have submitted documents for updating information. The files of 12 parties are under review, and six have already been registered with the concerned changes.
