Moldovan President's message to Nicușor Dan on swearing in as President of Romania

President Maia Sandu today sent a congratulatory message to Nicușor Dan on his swearing in as President of Romania.

The head of state wished Romania's new president success in his work.

"Good luck, Nicușor Dan. On the foundation of a common history, we build the future together: through projects that bring real benefits to citizens and through a firm commitment to European values," emphasized Maia Sandu.

Romania's newly elected president Nicușor Dan took the oath today in the Parliament.

In the Republic of Moldova, over 158,000 Romanians voted in the Romanian presidential elections, marking a historic turnout. The majority of voters cast their ballots for independent candidate Nicușor Dan.
