Speaker Igor Grosu met with mayors and institution directors from Florești district.

According to the speaker, the 25 projects worth 50 million lei, implemented in the last four years in Florești district focus on modernizing road infrastructure, rehabilitating schools and kindergartens, extending public lighting, and ensuring access to drinking water and sanitation in several localities.

The official noted that the main issue in the district remains ensuring access to drinking water, but authorities will continue investments in this area.

Among the achievements mentioned are: the renovation of educational institutions in the localities of Izvoare, Trifănești, Rădulenii Vechi, Vărvăreuca, Cașunca, Mărculești, Lunga, Cuhureștii de Sus, Vertiujeni, Cunicea, Domulgeni and Japca; new public lighting in Băhrinești, Cuhureștii de Jos, Mărculești city and recently in Coșernița.

"We have arranged the parks in Ghindești and Ștefănești, built a multifunctional hall in Cuhureștii de Jos, and a mini-football field in Roșietici. Over 20 city halls applied for local road renovations under Europe Nearby governmental program. Winners are to be announced in the coming days. This is what European Moldova means - good living conditions at home," concluded Igor Grosu.

Florești district has 74 localities and a population of 76,457 inhabitants.
