President on opening of Moldovan Consulates in Chicago and Sacramento
As promised, the Republic of Moldova now has two new consulates in the United States – in Chicago and Sacramento. They will bring our citizens in the USA closer to the services they need, President Maia Sandu praised the inauguration of our country's two consulates in the USA.
"Fewer trips, more care for people," Maia Sandu said.
The head of state assured that the government will continue to expand the consular network so that "every Moldovan, regardless of where they live, can quickly and easily benefit from state services."
On Saturday, the flag of the Republic of Moldova was hoisted at our country's new consulates in Chicago and Sacramento, USA.
They will provide various services, such as the issuance and renewal of Moldovan passports; notarial services and civil status documents; assistance for Moldovan citizens in emergencies; and the promotion of economic and cultural relations between Moldova and the USA.
