Almost half of new Parliament's MPs serving first term

A total of 47 deputies in the Parliament of the XIIth legislature are serving the first term, while 43 are in the second or third term. Another 11 have been elected at least four times.

Thus, out of the 55 deputies elected from the Party of Action and Solidarity list, 22 are serving the first term. Another 32 deputies have experience in two or three parliamentary terms, and MP Lilian Carp is in his fourth term.

Additionally, nine deputies elected from the Electoral Bloc Patriotic of the Socialists, Communists, Heart and Future of Moldova are serving their first term. Another nine are serving their second or third term, and five are in their fourth term. MP Igor Dodon is in his fifth term, and deputy Zinaida Greceanîi is in her seventh. The oldest member, Vladimir Voronin, is in his ninth term.

Among the deputies elected from the Electoral Bloc Alternative, four are serving their first term. The others have held three or four deputy terms, while Mark Tkaciuk has six.

Similarly, all deputies elected from Our Party and Democracy at Home Party lists are serving their first parliamentary term.

Following the elections on September 28, 2025, 55 deputies from the Party of Action and Solidarity list, 26 from the Electoral Bloc "Patriotic of the Socialists, Communists, Heart and Future of Moldova" list, eight from the Electoral Bloc "Alternative" list, and six deputies each from Our Party and Democracy at Home Party lists have entered parliament.
