EU & bunicii mei contest held in center of Moldova
EU & bunicii mei contest is taking place today in Stăuceni, Chișinău municipality.
'The grand prize for the finalists: a trip to a European capital,' Government spokesperson Daniel Vodă said.
So far, over 50 teams comprised of grandparents and grandchildren from all over the country have already competed in the northern and southern stages, in Răuțel and Văleni. 'The atmosphere was full of emotions, energy, and creativity, while the winning teams are advancing to the grand final,' said Daniel Vodă.
'It's a project that shows how we can discover Europe through the eyes of two generations - with emotion, play and much wisdom. We are moving in the right direction with all generations together! Towards peace and development!' Daniel Vodă said.
The members of the teams ranked first in the three editions of the contest will go on a trip to a European capital.
The event is organized by the European Integration Office, in partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the Ministry of Education and Research, the Ministry of Culture, the Intellectual Games Association of Moldova, and the National Youth Agency, with the support of the EU Delegation to Chișinău, UNFPA Moldova and other partners.
