Ion Ceban announced to remain as mayor

Chișinău mayor Ion Ceban delivered a public message today announcing that after the validation of the parliamentary elections, he will remain in office as mayor and give up his seat in parliament.

“First of all, I want to say a big thank you for the trust you placed in me when you elected me as mayor for the first mandate. Together, we have transformed Chișinău into a city with modern infrastructure. We have built roads, sidewalks and we continue to do so,” Ceban said.

The mayor mentioned that in his second mandate the modernization projects of the city continue.

“We are on the verge of major infrastructure modernization projects for Chișinău,” said Ceban.

He said that the team with which he participated in the parliamentary elections will delegate prepared people to the parliament, with projects and programs related to pensions, salaries, tariff reductions, and other important matters for every citizen.

In conclusion, the mayor said he will finish his mandate and remains committed to the capital's development.
