Four foreign citizens, family members of Moldovan citizens, safely evacuated from Gaza Strip to Moldova

Four foreign citizens, family members of Moldovan citizens, have been evacuated from the Gaza Strip and have safely arrived in Moldova.

According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE), the evacuation was possible through efforts of the Moldovan Embassies in Tel Aviv and Ankara, with the support of foreign partners.

The evacuation operation was carried out in close cooperation with the authorities of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Israel, as well as the involvement of international humanitarian organizations.

“The Foreign Affairs Ministry extends sincere thanks to all diplomats involved, representatives of the Red Cross, colleagues from the General Inspectorate of Border Police, international partners and authorities who contributed to the safe conduct of this complex humanitarian mission,” a press release by MAE reads.
