Attention, travelers! Heavy traffic at Leuseni border crossing point on outbound direction from Moldova
Border authorities have announced that there is increased traffic of travelers and vehicles at the Leuseni customs checkpoint today morning. The outbound direction from Moldova is congested.
To streamline cross-border traffic, the control authorities are applying additional measures. Thus, extra control lanes have been opened, the REVERS procedure has been implemented and operations are being carried out at full capacity on six control lanes on the outbound direction.
The Border Police and the Customs Service have recommended that cross-border travelers, where possible, opt for crossing the border through the Costesti, Leova or Cahul checkpoints.
