One magistrate of Moldova's Supreme Court of Justice resigns

The Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) has informed that it reviewed and accepted the application on resignation submitted by judge Viorica Puica from the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ).

According to CSM members, the magistrate was seconded to serve her mandate as a judge at the Constitutional Court.

Throughout her career, Viorica Puica has held positions as a judge and interim president of the Supreme Court of Justice (2023). At the same time, she has been actively involved in shaping new generations of judges and prosecutors through her teaching activities at the National Justice Institute and the State University of Moldova.

The CSM members thanked Puica for her entire activity and significant contribution to the development of the judicial system of Moldova.
