Acting chief prosecutor of Moldova's Special Prosecutor's Office passes external evaluation

The commission for evaluation of prosecutors has completed the financial and ethical integrity assessment of the acting chief prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Causes (PCCOCS), Victor Furtuna, and prosecutor Mihail Ivanov from the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. The commission concluded that the prosecutors met the criteria established by law and had passed the external evaluation.

According to the cited source, the evaluation procedure included the analysis of asset declarations and personal interests for the last five years, ethics questionnaires and lists of close persons within the judicial system, the prosecutor's office and public service.
