Over 10,000 applicants submit admission files to universities of Moldova on first day of contest
Over 10,000 candidates for undergraduate, master’s and integrated higher education programmes have submitted their admission files to universities of Moldova on the first day after the launch of the competition. The applications are registered through the platform www.eadmitere.gov.md.
The platform allows candidates to participate in the competition at up to three universities and to select up to three study programmes for each institution, in order of preference.
Registration on the www.eadmitere.gov.md platform is made using an electronic signature. Candidates who do not have such a signature can obtain one at any branch of mobile network operators, by presenting their identity card, or they can request assistance from universities’ admission commissions.
For additional information on the admission process to higher education institutions of the country, interested persons can call the Call Center at 0 8000 5005, available starting from the first day of the contest – July 27, 2026.
The university admission competition was launched on Monday, July 27.
For the 2026–2027 academic year, the government has approved 9,013 state-funded places for public universities, allocated for bachelor’s, master’s, residency, clinical secondary education and doctoral studies.
In Moldova, there are 16 higher education institutions – 11 public and five private ones.
