Over 100 producers expected at 25th edition of National Wine Day

More than 100 wine producers will participate in the 25th edition of National Wine Day, which will take place on October 3–4 under the theme “Wine That Unites Us.” The event will be held this weekend at the Great National Assembly Square and at wineries across the country.

Speaker Igor Grosu made the statement during a parliamentary session. He invited citizens to participate in the event.

“The wine industry is a sector that successfully represents our country, and this year’s theme is “Wine That Unites Us.” For two days, you will have the opportunity to discover select wines from more than 100 producers, choose from a wide range of flavors, and talk with winemakers,” said Igor Grosu.

At this year’s edition, the Republic of Moldova will also attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the largest human grapevine.

“You are welcome at the Great National Assembly Square and at wineries across the country,” Igor Grosu noted.

National Wine Day is held annually to promote Moldova’s wine industry and wine production.

The anniversary edition of National Wine Day will take place on October 3 and 4 at the Great National Assembly Square and along Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard. The celebration is held annually on the first weekend of October and promotes Moldovan wine, wine culture, and the Republic of Moldova as a wine tourism destination.
