Three honorary consuls of Moldova awarded Diplomatic Merit medal
Three honorary consuls of Moldova in Italy, Bulgaria and Germany have been awarded the Diplomatic Merit Medal, third class, for their contribution to promoting the country’s interests and image, strengthening bilateral relations and supporting Moldovan communities. The distinctions were awarded at the conclusion of the Meeting of Honorary Consuls of Moldova, held in Chisinau, which was attended by 60 representatives from various countries.
According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE), the Diplomatic Merit Medal was awarded to Alessandro Signorini, Honorary Consul in the Tuscany region of Italy; Veselin Chipev, Honorary Consul in the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria; and Eugen Friesen, Honorary Consul in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
The other honorary consuls who participated in the meeting received certificates of merit, as a sign of appreciation for their professionalism, dedication and contribution to promoting Moldova in the countries where they carry out their mandates.
The meeting in Chisinau brought together 60 honorary consuls of Moldova, who are representing various countries.
