Parliament speaker denounces violation of Moldova’s airspace
Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has condemned the Russian Federation’s attacks on Ukraine and the violation of Moldova’s airspace by five drones and missiles today morning.
“Russia’s war against Ukraine is reaching people’s homes in Moldova ever closer,” Igor Grosu said.
According to the speaker, during a few dozen minutes, five drones and missiles violated the airspace of Moldova, while explosions occurred near localities in four districts.
Igor Grosu condemned Russia’s attacks on Ukraine and the repeated violations of the airspace of Moldova.
“We will not accept Russia’s war endangering the lives and security of our citizens,” Grosu said, noting that Russia can stop this war.
The parliament speaker also said that Moldova would continue to protect its citizens and strengthen its capacity to respond to such threats.
Igor Grosu urged citizens to stay vigilant and not approach fragments or suspicious objects, and to immediately call the emergency service at 112, if they find any.
