Traffic of heavy vehicles restricted at all border crossing points
Traffic of heavy vehicles has been halted at all state border crossing points due to slippery road surfaces. The measure is applied for both exit from and entry into the country until the weather conditions improve.
According to the General Inspectorate of Police, the decision was taken to prevent road accidents and maintain the safety of road users.
In this context, the police recommend that heavy vehicle drivers avoid traveling until traffic is resumed, follow the instructions of traffic police and competent authorities, and monitor official information regarding the traffic regime at the border.
Traffic police officers are monitoring the situation and intervening promptly to maintain road safety.
