Over 1,200 tons of gasoline and diesel imported into Moldova on Monday

Over 1,000 tons of diesel and 200 tons of gasoline were imported into the Republic of Moldova on 6 April.

According to data from the Ministry of Energy, as of April 6, fuel stocks amounted to 17 days of consumption for gasoline, 16 days for liquefied petroleum gas, and 6 days of diesel consumption.

Car owners are encouraged by the authorities to use petroleum products rationally and to avoid purchases that are not strictly necessary.

The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova has declared state of emergency in the energy sector for a period of 60 days, starting on March 25, 2026.
