United Nations Children's Fund donates 140 laptops to strengthen primary healthcare in Moldova

The Ministry of Health has received 140 laptops on behalf of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), valued at 61,000 dollars. They will be distributed to health centers across the country, based on needs.

The laptops were purchased with financial support from the United States government, through the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration.

According to the Ministry of Health, the donation aims to strengthen the institutional capacities of the primary healthcare sector, ensure continuity and efficiency of medical services and enhance the quality of care provided to the population, especially to children, including refugees. At the same time, the IT equipment will significantly contribute to modernizing the digital infrastructure of medical institutions, facilitating access to modern working technologies, digitizing medical data and improving decision-making processes in primary healthcare.
