
Over 1,400 children of Moldova participate in European Excursion educational programme, second edition
Over 1,400 children from across Moldova have benefitted from cultural and educational activities in the capital, as part of the second edition of the government's European Excursion educational programme, held on June 24-July 18, 2025.
Pupils came from all districts of the country, and their itinerary included visits to the National Museum of History, the Parliament of Moldova and the Presidency, as well as watching a movie at the cinema.
This edition was attended by pupils aged between 10 and 16 years. Each group was made up of 18 children and an accompanying teacher from each of the 78 settlements included in the programme. To reach the capital, special transport was organized in mini-busses with the inscription, European Excursion, and in Chisinau, they were accompanied by guides throughout the day. The children were provided with supplies and meals for free, with all organizational expenses covered by the government.
The European Excursion programme, implemented by the government, aims to facilitate educational and cultural experiences for students from villages. Over 2,500 children participated in the first edition of the programme in 2024.
