Moldovan parliament speaker, Romanian official discuss Moldova-Romania cooperation in key economic sectors

Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has had a meeting with Romania's Minister of Investments and European Projects, Dragoș-Nicolae Pîslaru. The discussion focused on the cooperation between Moldova and Romania in key economic sectors.

The speaker emphasized that, in the past four years, authorities' efforts had been concentrated on stabilizing the economy in the face of crises. ‘’In the coming years, we will focus on economic growth, aided by the massive European funds our country will benefit from in the accession process,’’ Igor Grosu said.

At the same time, the parliament speaker noted that Romania had been and continued to be a crucial partner for Moldova. ‘’In the process of European integration, we will become even closer, through joint projects aimed to truly connect citizens on both sides of the Prut River,’’ Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu added.
