Brass bands from all regions of Moldova today assembled at the Brass Bands Festival, held at the historical and architectural complex Manuc Bey from Hancesti. Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu attended the event. Grosu said who that such events unite people and remind them of what a talented people they are.
‘’It was a true celebration today in Hancesti, at Manuc Bey, where I participated in the Brass Bands Festival. Brass bands from all regions of the country reminded us of the joy of brass music - always present at the celebrations of Moldovans, at the most important events, whether family or national,’’ said Igor Grosu.
At the Brass Bands Festival, a crafts fair was also organized. ‘’I also visited the local craftsmen's fair. As always, I discovered talented people who earn their livelihood by crafting and creating with their own hands,’’ said the parliament speaker.
‘’We have something to carry with us into the European Union, where we will find ourselves in a few years together with all our cultural heritage and valuable people,’’ Speaker Igor Grosu added.
The Brass Bands Festival has reached its second edition, being an event that highlights brass music, tradition and community spirit. The event brings together several brass bands from the districts of the country, which offered the public a varied musical programme, full of rhythm and color.
