The first-year students enrolled at the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) have solemnly recited the Student's Oath, committing to uphold university values and traditions, strive for academic success, and respect their professors and peers while aiming to become valuable professionals.
At the same time, sixth-year students presented them with the white coat along with other symbols of medicine, such as the stethoscope and scalpel, as well as the flame of knowledge, which they are to cherish and pass on to future generations of medical professionals.
In total, this year, 1,280 young individuals passed the admission contest at USMF Nicolae Testemitanu, of whom 1,228 were admitted to undergraduate and integrated studies. The Medicine program admitted 770 students, Dentistry - 128, Pharmacy - 124, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation - 74, General Nursing - 38, Optometry - 29, Radiology and Imaging Technologies - 24, and Public Health = 25 students, with an additional 16 students joining the compensatory year. It is worth mentioning that 16 students who scored straight A's at their school-leaving exams chose to study at USMF Nicolae Testemitanu.
For master's degree studies, 52 individuals were admitted to the following programmes: Early Childhood Intervention - 5, Public Health Management - 10, Advanced Nursing - 11, Human Nutrition - 11, Clinical Optometry - 3, Public Mental Health – 8 and Molecular Health Technologies - 4.
