Foreign Ministry: No information that Moldovans among victims of Glória funicular accident in Lisbon
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova announces that through Embassy in Portugal, it is monitoring the developments related to the tragic accident, resulting in 15 deaths, at the famous 'Glória' funicular in central Lisbon.
According to the ministry, our country's embassy in Portugal is in direct contact with the emergency cell established by local authorities and is constantly monitoring the situation.
"So far, there is no information that citizens of the Republic of Moldova are among the victims. Additionally, no requests for consular assistance have been received from Moldovans in Portugal," it said.
