
Bridge over Raut River put into operation in Floresti district
Chisinau, 3 February /MOLDPRES/- The bridge over the Răut River, part of the G52 national road, which connects Prodănești, Ștefănești, Ciutulești and Cașunca villages, Floresti district, was put into operation. A commission assessed the works today and found they had been carried out in line with the rules, the State Road Administration (ASD) has reported.
According to Mihail Lupaşcu, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, commission member, the works are completed qualitatively, according to the requirements of the requirements of the project and regulations in force. "The reconstruction of the bridge over the Răut River will ensure the direct access of over 6,200 inhabitants of Ștefănești, Ciutulești and Cașunca villages to the network of republican roads, contributing to ensuring road safety and improving traffic conditions", Lupascu said.
"The bridge is connecting the schools, kindergartens, hospitals, shopping centers and other social institutions. Road users will no longer bypass this region, the repair of the bridge facilitating access to several local roads, including social objectives," ASD acting director general Veaceslav Potop said.
For restoration of the bridge near Ștefănești, Floresti district, an investment of about 13 million lei was used, means allocated from the road fund.
