Cultural project for writers launched in Moldovan capital
Chisinau, 13 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Writers’ Union of Moldova (USM), in partnership with the B.P. Hasdeu Municipal Library, today launched a contest on participation in the cultural project, Writers for the Capital, Capital for the Writers, the second edition, backed by the culture and cultural heritage general department of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC).
Through this project, the organizers are set to boost the communication with the public (pupils, students, teachers, librarians, journalists, etc.), in order to promote the reading and literary dialogue between the capital’s community and the writers, to enhance the visibility and presence of writers in the community life.
Writers living in the area of the Chisinau municipality can participate in the project. At the same time, the writers who took part in the first issue of the project in 2022 will not be able to participate in the second edition.
The files are to be submitted till 24 March 2023.
