‘’Latvia is an important partner for Moldova in the process of joining the European Union. We receive concrete support and assistance in aligning with European requirements. I took this opportunity to thank the Vice President of the Latvian Parliament, Antonina Ņenaševa, with whom I had the chance to speak during the Sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Geneva,’’ said Igor Grosu.

At the same time, the speaker met Speaker of the Swedish Parliament Andreas Norlén. ‘’I had the opportunity to thank Speaker of the Swedish Parliament Andreas Norlén for every support Sweden provides to Moldova, and also for the immense help offered to Ukraine, which has been bravely defending our country for over three years. Sweden is one of the biggest bilateral donors to Moldova and it constantly  helps us, especially in the energy sector, both in strengthening our energy resilience and providing direct assistance to citizens to cope with payments of invoices. Moldova has strong partners on its European path. Thank you for every support!’’ emphasized the Moldovan parliament speaker.
