VIDEO // Minister of Culture invites public to visit Moldova pavilion at Venice Biennale: Come support our artists and Republic of Moldova

Minister of Culture Cristian Jardan has issued an invitation to the public and the diaspora to visit the Republic of Moldova’s pavilion at the Venice Biennale, where our country is officially taking part for the first time at one of the most important contemporary art events in the world. Moldova pavilion hosts the project “On the Thousand and Second Night,” created by artist Pavel Brăila and curated by Adelina Luft.

While in Venice, the minister emphasized the importance of this moment for promoting Moldovan culture internationally and for supporting artists from the Republic of Moldova.

“Greetings from Venice, where for the first time the Republic of Moldova is participating in the Venice Biennale. It is the largest and most important contemporary art event in the world. Moldova’s pavilion is ready and I invite everyone to come and visit it. Come support our artists and the Republic of Moldova,” said Cristian Jardan.

Moldova pavilion will be open to visitors until 26 November 2026 and is located in the Santa Veneranda space, part of the Chiesa dei Santi Geremia e Lucia complex, situated a few minutes from Venice’s central train station.

The participation of the Republic of Moldova in the Biennale marks the country’s first institutional presence at this international cultural event, founded in 1895, which every two years brings together artists, curators, and national pavilions from around the world.
