Honest Taxpayer Gala // 100 economic agents receive credibility certificates
A total of 100 taxpayers who promote fiscal responsibility, voluntary compliance, and transparency in their economic activity have been awarded the title of “Taxpayer with a High Degree of Credibility” as a sign of appreciation for consistently meeting their tax obligations and promoting tax civism. The certificates were presented at the “Honest Taxpayer Gala 2026,” held today in Chișinău on the 36th anniversary of the State Tax Service (SFS).
In her message to the participants, SFS Director Olga Golban emphasized that the distinction represents more than symbolic recognition, being an expression of a relationship of trust and partnership between the tax authority and taxpayers.
“Tax contributions are an investment in the future of the Republic of Moldova. The mission of the SFS is to stand by the business community, to provide support and modern services so that paying tax obligations becomes as simple and predictable a process as possible. Voluntary compliance is built over time, through dialogue and mutual trust, and the companies awarded today demonstrate that fiscal responsibility and business performance go hand in hand,” said Olga Golban.
In turn, the Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Economy, Budget and Finance, Victoria Belous, stressed that entrepreneurs in the Republic of Moldova demonstrate courage and responsibility every day, developing businesses in a challenging environment and contributing to the support of public services through the taxes and duties they pay.
“Economic development is possible through collaboration, and state institutions must remain open to proposals and solutions coming from the business community,” underlined Belous.
According to the SFS, entrepreneurs who obtain credibility certificates are exempt from tax audits using the method of full and thematic inspections for a period of two years.
