Prime Minister and Strategic Counsellor at Tony Blair Institute discuss support for European reforms in Moldova
Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu held a meeting with Sanna Marin, Strategic Counsellor at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change and former Prime Minister of Finland. The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation to accelerate the European integration path of the Republic of Moldova and attract investment to our country.
Munteanu noted that European integration is the Government’s central objective, and the current stage involves not only harmonizing legislation, but also effectively implementing reforms that will provide citizens with better living conditions. “The Republic of Moldova has a clear strategic direction: European integration, economic development and strengthening resilience. We are working on turning these objectives into results that will be felt by citizens,” said Munteanu.
The parties discussed expanding the support offered by the Tony Blair Institute in managing and monitoring reforms related to accession to the European Union.
