Minsk-Chisinau flight to be launched starting from 30 October
Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/- A new flight Minsk-Chisinau will be launched on 30 October. It will be operated by the Belavia airline in Belarus.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, the aircraft will take off from Chisinau to Minsk on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 14.05 and 9.05 - on Mondays and Fridays.
Travel time is about one hour and 30 minutes. The cost of one-way flight will be 83 euros and 153 euros round trip. Tickets are already available for sale.
“It worked almost two years to launch it. I want to thank the teams involved in it. It is an expected flight for the citizens of both states and for the economic agents, running between Chisinau and Minsk. I am sure the new flight will have an immediate social and economic impact," Economy and Infrastructure Minister Chiril Gaburici said.
Foreign trade between Moldova and Belarus in January-August 2018 amounted to 137 million dollars, exports recorded 62.4 million dollars.
