Moldovan President had phone conversation with Ukraine's counterpart

Today President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu had a phone call with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. During the discussion, the two heads of state reiterated the strong relations of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

Maia Sandu confirmed her participation in the upcoming Ukraine - Southeast Europe Summit, highlighting the importance of strengthening regional solidarity in the face of current security challenges. She emphasized Moldova's firm support for Ukraine, which, through its resistance to the Russian invasion, also safeguards peace in Moldova.

"The Republic of Moldova stands firmly with Ukraine - for peace, freedom, and its European future. Our voice in support of Ukraine remains strong in all multilateral forums," Maia Sandu said.
