
Gheorghe Budeanu could be new member of Supervisory and Development Board of Teleradio-Moldova Company
The candidacy of journalist Gheorghe Budeanu will be proposed to the Parliament for the appointment as a member of the Supervisory and Development Board of Teleradio-Moldova Company.
Gheorghe Budeanu was nominated for the position by the Action and Solidarity Party faction, after it became vacant following the resignation of Sergiu Stanciu.
Gheorghe Budeanu is a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism at Moldova State University and has held various positions at different publications in the country over time.
The journalist is the author of nine volumes of publicistic and fiction works, awarded with several literary prizes and honors for his contributions to writing and journalism. He was also decorated for his participation in actions defending the independence and integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
The Supervisory and Development Board of Teleradio-Moldova Company consists of seven members, appointed for a single mandate of six years. Three of them are proposed by parliamentary factions, while four are nominated by civil society organizations.
