Moldovan government invests 72 million lei in sector of construction in central Moldova village

Seventy two million lei will be invested in the outskirts of the village of Ratus, central Criuleni district, for the development of a modern production unit for pre-tensioned reinforced concrete prefabricated pieces, meant for industrial, commercial and road infrastructure constructions. The project, carried out by the  Gido PARK Company, benefits from state’s aid worth over 43.6 million lei, provided by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization (MDED).

The investment, co-financed 60 per cent by the state, includes a grant of about 11 million lei and partial income tax exemptions worth over 32.7 million lei. The production unit will serve the industrial, commercial and road infrastructure construction sectors, contributing to addressing a significant deficit on the local market.

The implementation of the project is scheduled for a period of 13 months, starting from June 2025, and will generate at least 40 new jobs in the region. Authorities are counting on the positive impact of the investment on the local economic development, reducing imports and attracting foreign investors.

"This project clearly proves our commitment to supporting investments with a real impact on the national economy and local communities. In Criuleni, we are developing not only industrial infrastructure, but also jobs and long-term growth opportunities. Such initiatives contribute to diversifying the economy and reducing dependence on import, adding value both regionally and nationally," said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Doina Nistor.

The Gido PARK Company, active since 2014, has completed important projects for well-known brands from Moldova, consolidating its reputation in the commercial and industrial construction sector.

The support is part of the state aid mechanism for investments, through which the state encourages the development of strategic industries. In the next three years, the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization is set to support at least 150 investment projects, with a total estimated budget of two billion lei.
