As of today new water and sewage tariffs enter into force in Chișinău

The decision approving the tariffs for the provision and delivery of public water supply, sewage and wastewater treatment services by Apă-Canal Chișinău has been published in the Official Journal and has come into effect.

The newly approved tariffs are as follows: 12.99 lei/m3 for drinking water supply (an increase of 2.20 lei/m3 compared to the current tariff of 10.79 lei/m3); 12.23 lei/m3 for technological water supply (an increase of 4.12 lei/m3 compared to the current tariff of 8.11 lei/m3); 5.63 lei/m3 for sewage and wastewater treatment services for domestic consumers (an increase of 1.45 lei/m3 compared to the current tariff of 4.17 lei/m3); 10.16 lei/m3 for sewage and wastewater treatment services for non-domestic consumers (tariff maintained at the current level); 4.22 lei/m3 for the production and transportation of water for redistribution (an increase of 0.81 lei/m3 compared to the current tariff of 3.41 lei/m3).

The previous tariffs were approved in October 2023.
