
Speaker on working visit to Florești district
Speaker Igor Grosu paid a working visit to Florești district. He discussed with representatives of local public authorities, directors of state institutions, entrepreneurs, and visited infrastructure improvement projects implemented in the region.
Through the European Village 2 Program alone, 25 projects have been implemented in 25 localities in Florești district, worth over 50 million lei. Additionally, the connection to drinking water for residents of the villages of Cernița, Coșernița, Temeleuți, and Văscăuți is in the final stages. Schools and kindergartens have also been renovated in the localities of Izvoare, Trifănești, Rădulenii Vechi, Vărvăreuca, Cașunca, Mărculești, Lunga, Cuhureștii de Sus, Vertiujeni, Cunicea, Domulgeni and Japca. Public lighting networks are being constructed in Băhrinești, Cuhureștii de Jos, Mărculești town, and now in Coșernița. Moreover, parks in Ghindești and Ștefănești have been arranged, a multifunctional hall has been built in Cuhureștii de Jos, and a mini-football field in Roșietici.
"Our concern for the villages and cities of the Republic of Moldova motivates us to direct public resources towards concrete projects with a direct impact on citizens' quality of life. In the past four years in Florești district, we have supported projects that mean renovated roads, modernized schools and kindergartens, illuminated streets, access to water and sewage, and support for community initiatives," Grosu said.
The official also visited Ciutulești village. There, road renovation works that connect to the district center will start shortly. The section is 3.4 kilometers long and has never been repaired. In this context, Igor Grosu emphasized that this year, over 600 kilometers of local and regional roads will be modernized.
The work visit agenda also included Cașunca locality. With government support, two groups at Mugurel kindergarten are under renovation. Also, the first pharmacy in the district opened under Pharmacy in Your Locality program.
The Speaker also visited Ciuprina family business, which has been operating a guesthouse in Lunga village for over eight years.
